New Features

Thank you for all feedback since our first Stanza v2.0 email. The month of February was spent on adding creator-first features to make it even simpler to create, manage and share your calendar.

Here is what’s new:

1. Profile page: Now includes a “Share” button & “Preview” button. The Preview button allows you to view your calendar page in "fan mode," showing you exactly what fans see when they visit your Stanza page.

2. Share button: Offers various options for sharing your calendar, including a new <> Embed feature.

   • Select the Embed option to copy code snippets for embedding the calendar on your webpage. Two display formats are available: vertical and horizontal (optimized for mobile).

   • If you are embedding your calendar, we highly recommend updating event images. 

     

3. Ticketing, shop & watch icons: You can now turn these on for your calendar.

   

   • For automated feed users who are Ticketmaster clients, ticketing links are automatically added to your calendar descriptions and Stanza page.

   • If you manually maintain your calendar, make sure your calendar event descriptions include links in the following format for us to pick up & turn into icons on your Stanza Page:

   • Tip: A good example of a manual calendar is: stanzacal.com/TimBoxeo. Subscribe to that calendar to see how Watch links are added to the calendar event descriptions.

4. New customer success form: Direct fans who are still having issues to this form. We check it daily and will respond promptly.

Coming very soon…

1. Microsoft and Email login: We’re actively working on bringing these back.
2. Tightening up UX: Making improvements across the site to improve usability and make subscribing to calendars even simpler for fans.
3. Discover tab overhaul: We’ll soon be feature more calendars from our diverse creator community.

Asks for You

1. Setup: 

   • If you've requested an update to your login details, the changes have been made, and a confirmation email was sent to you. If you have not received the confirmation email, or if you continue to face issues logging in, please fill out this form so we can set you up.  

   • For manual creators unable to add their calendar link via the dashboard, fill out this form for setup support.

2. Stanza Page & Integrations:

   • Double check your Add to Calendar buttons to ensure they correctly direct users to your page.

   • Update your avatar and event images to be featured on the homepage.

   • Verify that your ticketing, shop, and watch links display correctly on your Stanza page.

3. Search:

   • Search for your calendar (stanzacal.com/search) and fill out this form if there are duplicate calendars that you would like us to remove from search results.. 

   • Make sure your follower count is accurate. If not, fill out this form so we can take a look at migrating over your followers.
